What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are releasing Oldish Stuff in Early Access to involve players in the development process and shape the game based on their feedback.
The game's bizarre and absurd tone benefits greatly from community input, especially when it comes to refining humor, balance, and gameplay feel.
Early Access gives us the opportunity to test new ideas, gather reactions, and gradually improve the experience in collaboration with our players.
Our goal is to create a more enjoyable and well-rounded game through this open development approach.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Oldish Stuff to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months, but this timeline may change depending on player feedback and development progress.
Our focus is on quality and player experience, so we’ll take the time needed to refine the game and ensure it meets our standards before a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Oldish Stuff over time with a variety of new content and improvements.
This may include additional enemies, new biomes to explore, expanded boss battles, more items to collect and sell, and further upgrades to the pawnshop system.
We’re also looking into adding new abilities that players can unlock and use to customize their character and playstyle.
Our aim is to build a richer and more complete experience with the help of community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of Oldish Stuff features one fully playable biome, 5 unique enemy types, and over 60 collectible items.
Players can use 7 different weapon types, unlock 12 passive skills and 1 active skill to shape their playstyle, and engage in 1 boss fight.
The game also includes a functional day cycle system and 3 distinct minigames with varying challenges.
While the game is fully playable and offers a solid gameplay foundation, we continue to refine and expand the experience based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually increase the price of Oldish Stuff as we add more content and features during the Early Access period.
The final release version will likely have a higher price to reflect the improvements and additions made throughout development.
This approach helps support ongoing development while keeping the early version accessible to early supporters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We highly value community feedback and plan to actively involve players in the development process by gathering input on gameplay, balance, and content ideas.
Platforms such as the Steam forums, Discord, and social media will be used to collect suggestions, answer questions, and discuss future updates.
In particular, we plan to open discussions where the most liked or supported ideas — especially for new regions, enemy designs, item concepts, and skill mechanics — will help guide our creative decisions.
Our goal is to build a game that reflects the imagination and passion of both the developers and the players.”

About This Game

Loot, Sell, Survive - Profit from Chaos.

Oldish Stuff is a 2D action looter set in a decadent world. Interdimensional portals open in this world, bringing enemies, loot and absurdity. As a thrift shop owner without morals or compassion, you raid chaotic dimensions, looting the dead and selling your finds to anyone still breathing.

Your shop is not just a selling point, it is the centre of progress. Valuable loot from portal runs, rare enemy parts and equipment upgrades contribute directly to expanding and automating your business.

Battles are fast and varied. You'll fight with melee combos, special abilities, stuns, and status effects. The enemies you face are grotesque, ranging from cultists to mutants, and the loot they drop changes the gameplay.

In between battles, you price items, deal with customer behaviour and manipulate the economy. Who buys what matters. The inventory in your shop affects the enemies you face in the future, and some may return for revenge.

Key Features:

Loot-Driven Gameplay Loop: Dive into chaotic dimensions, defeat twisted enemies, and scavenge their remains for profit.

Dynamic Combat System: Engage in fast-paced melee combat, utilize special abilities, and exploit status effects to overcome grotesque foes.

Trade Progression: Sell your loot to expand your shop, unlock dark abilities, and automate your operations for maximum efficiency.

Enemy-Interactive Economy: The gear you sell doesn't just disappear, it equips future enemies, making each decision impactful.

Stylized 2D Visuals: Immerse yourself in a darkly humorous world brought to life with hand drawn enemy designs and environments.

High Replayability: Experience randomized loot, diverse enemy types, and scalable challenges that keep each playthrough fresh.

No moral choices, no heroes. Just pure unethical profit.
