Why Early Access?

“Kyoumei is a 2D anime action game that combines visual novel-style storytelling, character progression, and chapter-based content. We are choosing Early Access so that we can develop the game step by step, improve the core experience through player feedback, and continue expanding the game with new chapters, skills, enemies, and stages.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Kyoumei to remain in Early Access for around 12 to 18 months. This may change depending on development progress, player feedback, and the level of polish needed for the full version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is planned to be updated step by step up to Chapter 5.

The full version is planned to launch with Chapter 6, an important turning point in the story, along with additional polish and overall quality improvements based on player feedback. After the full version is released, we may consider additional content or DLC depending on player feedback, sales performance, and available development resources, with the goal of further expanding the parallel world journey if possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is planned to include the opening story, visual novel-style scenes, core 2D action combat, and the foundation of the chapter-based progression system.

Through chapter updates during Early Access, we plan to expand the game with additional story chapters, enhanced action combat systems, bug fixes, and localization refinements.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase when Kyoumei leaves Early Access and launches as the full version.

The Early Access price is planned to be lower than the full version price and reflect the current amount of content available.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect feedback through Steam Community discussions, announcements, player reports, social media, and input from demo and Early Access players.

Player feedback will help us prioritize improvements to gameplay feel, difficulty balance, UI clarity, bugs, performance, localization quality, and the overall player experience throughout Early Access.”
