What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game will be released early, primarily as a tool for gathering feedback and to help fine-tune elements such as the flight mechanics. Such complex systems are challenging for a single developer to perfect alone.
The game's progression is based on a philosophy where learning and mastery are achieved through failure, an experience I aim to ensure feels right. My goal is to create a game that is challenging, yet accessible for most people.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am roughly aiming for a full release by november 2026. The hope is by then the core foundational components and a state of robustness will be in place. Furthermore, it is important to emphasize that exiting early access will not stop the development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the future, I hope to introduce more ships, additional sectors featuring unique scenarios, and a broader array of mission types.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access release will feature the core gameplay loop, centered around mastering flight mechanics, performing packet deliveries, and completing missions within your designated sector. This initial version includes four distinct spacecraft, designed to accommodate the current range of missions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There might be a slight increase at launch or closer to the release date.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“People can engage in the YouTube comments on videos about the development and various social media platforms.

I would love your feedback.”

About This Game

Get into the cockpit in Packet Loss, a challenging flight simulator where precision and skill are paramount! You're a pilot tasked with transporting vital packets from one location to another. But beware - this isn't your typical delivery service. With near realistic physics and flight controls, such as using the ground effect to gain power and save fuel, every subtle adjustment, and every turn of the ship will impact your journey.

Balance the cargo, packets and oil drums correctly onto your ship, or be prepared for potential unscheduled pedestrian transit.
