When She's Gone is an independent adventure game that takes place amid World War 2. In August 1940, Luftwaffe started their air raid on Britain. Their target was industrial centre, Greater Manchester. The Manchester Blitz brought nothing but devastating outcome that demolished Greater Manchester area. When She's Gone examines the exact period of time with a mysterious journey of local man, Jonathan.

Jonathan finds a note that telling his wife left the house. Bu he doesn't know where she is. He then decides to look for her.

When She's Gone is a point-and-click adventure game that focuses on a mysterious narrative. The story is set in Greater Manchester during the Manchester Blitz. Throughout the events of When She's Gone, Jonathan must find his wife while surviving the shocking air raids. You will embark on a journey to locate the missing wife and endure the dangers of the Blitz. When She's Gone features various historical locations and iconic North West cities, all woven into a thrilling storyline.

Many images that take place in game, representing towns and cities were created with the help of artificial intelligence. Generated pieces were not directly taken place in game but used advisory/recommendation manner (eg. to illustrate how a North West city looks in 1940s).

The game focuses on World War 2 and its destructive side. There is no actual visualisation of any harm or violence. But emotional scenes may affect audience. There are repeating siren sound throughout the game as well.
