About This Game

introduction

As the name suggests, Isle Survival is primarily a survival game, but it is much more than just that.

All maps in this game are procedurally generated—
From lush forest regions to dim, lightless swamps,
From golden deserts to snow-capped mountains,
From icy dungeons to eternal-night underground cities,
From cozy cabins to brutal caves,
Every type of terrain you encounter
Is procedurally generated to ensure a unique experience with each playthrough.

Along with the procedurally generated maps come randomized chests and enemy spawns, ensuring that no two players will have the exact same gameplay experience. Notably, the game’s progression and tech systems are permanent—death will not reset your character’s growth. Thus, it is also a roguelite with rogue-like elements.

Additionally, the game features farming and crafting systems. Consumable items will significantly impact your combat experience, so tending to your crops is essential—unless you want to face an extreme challenge.

Unless… you’re doing it on purpose?

Gameplay OverView

Survival

As a human stranded on the planet Isle, you must monitor various attributes, including Hunger, Thirst, Sanity, Dryness, and Energy. The lower these stats, the greater the penalties for your actions.

If any attribute drops too low, your life will be at risk.

You must also manage injuries and illnesses.

Nearly every action—walking, swinging a sword, chopping trees, harvesting crops, digging—consumes stamina and affects your health.

Environmental factors can also impact your well-being.

Taking damage naturally worsens your condition.

If your health deteriorates, you may suffer from various debuffs that drastically reduce your core stats, putting your survival in jeopardy.

Farming

Your character has an "Element" attribute, which influences both the damage you deal and the damage you take in combat.

You can gather basic food from the environment, such as fruits and meat. These items not only replenish hunger and thirst but also carry an "Element" property that slightly alters your elemental affinity when consumed.

However, naturally occurring food provides only low elemental values, whereas carefully cultivated crops yield high elemental values, significantly enhancing your combat effectiveness.

Adventure

All maps are procedurally generated at the start of each playthrough.

This procedural generation ensures unpredictability, guaranteeing that every player—and every run—will have a distinct exploration experience and a fresh adventure.

Combat

Along with the procedurally generated maps, enemies and loot are also randomized, ensuring that every encounter aligns with the environment and lore.

While exploring, you will face procedurally generated hostile units, including common enemies, elite foes, and boss encounters. This ensures that no two battles play out the same way.

Progression

Similar to an RPG’s skill tree, your attribute allocation determines which weapons and items you can use.

Additionally, your "Attributes" influence your combat "playstyle," with different builds granting unique passive effects.

Tech Tree

The crafting system allows you to create various items.

However, higher-tier equipment is locked behind tech restrictions. To unlock advanced crafting options, you must progress through different challenges and milestones.
