About This Game

Emergency Exit does not include a traditional tutorial. This is a deliberate choice. The game invites you to discover its mechanics and rules through exploration and experimentation, and it rewards curiosity and observation.

Emergency Exit: Puzzles, Communication, and Escape

Two minds, one way out.

Emergency Exit is an asymmetrical co-op game where communication is vital and every second counts. Cooperate, communicate, and escape — before it's too late.

Read this carefully: Emergency Exit does not offer a traditional tutorial. This is an integral part of the game's vision.

Key Features:

  • Two players, two distinct roles:

*The first player, armed with a flashlight and limited battery, must navigate alone through an emergency evacuation plan. Flames spread, deadly traps activate, and unsettling noises echo in the distance… He must move cautiously, stay alert, and, above all, avoid getting lost.

*The second player, from the control room, neither sees nor hears the first player. Their mission: guide their teammate through the darkness, protect them from dangers, and help solve puzzles. They have an emergency manual filled with notes and instructions, as well as control panels with buttons, levers, screens, and switches, to manipulate the environment (open doors, trigger sprinklers, manage ventilation access, etc.). However, every system consumes electricity, which must be managed wisely.

  • Difficulty:

As you progress, obstacles increase, puzzles grow more complex, and time becomes a critical factor. Mistakes have no place here. On top of that, several difficulty modes introduce additional constraints, requiring perfect puzzle mastery and flawless communication between players. Few will be able to overcome all these challenges.

If you’d like to enjoy the game in a more relaxed way, an Easy Mode is available — but it won’t taste quite the same.

  • Replayability:
For the full experience, it is recommended to complete the game playing both roles. Will you do better than your partner when you take their place? You will win or fail together, but it will surely be each other's fault.

  • Secrets to uncover:

You’re not the first to roam the corners of Emergency Exit. Pages of a journal scattered throughout the levels serve as both clues and unanswered questions. Secrets and surprises await the most curious players.

  • The perfect duo:

Reaching the exit in each level is one thing, but doing so in record time, without mistakes, and saving all the lost cats is even better… Achieve the highest scores and earn the right to brag about it!

  • Two endings and a few surprises… But is it really the end?

Inspired by classics like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Operation: Tango, and We Were Here Together, Emergency Exit is designed for fans of cooperative and puzzle games, where communication is as crucial as the ability to handle pressure.

Ready to take on the challenge? Add Emergency Exit to your wishlist and get ready for a unique cooperative experience!

Remember, you're here because you chose to be.

Though good people don't usually end up here.
