About This Game

Project Berserk is a 2D fighting game where you fight with or against your friends with crazy sci-fi tech, innovative mechanics, and a classic yet colorful retro feel! It intends to challenge the fighting game formula with various fighter complexities, wild forms of player expression through dense mechanics, and multiple gamemodes like a 4-Player Free For All! 

Project Berserk includes the main gamemodes expected for a classic fighting game; the 1v1 Fight, a Training Mode, and a Learn menu, which includes a How To Play guide with written discussions of universal mechanics and Movesets to let you dive into every part of a character's movelist!

On top of that, there is also Multi-Fight, capable of up to 4 Players in either a free-for-all or team battle!

• Different complexities for a player to play with, all catered to different levels of fighting game players.

• No Motion, Mashing, or Chord Inputs! All attacks are done with a Direction + Button

• Buttons can be held down indefinitely to reduce timing demands.

• Blocking can be done in multiple ways, either with a dedicated button or by holding back to accommodate players familiar will any 2D fighter.

• Most characters offer a easy-to-pick-up combo system where it only takes a second to understand basic combo routes.

Do not think this is a watered down experience! Not only are there strong universal mechanics like canceling and the Vigor System, but every character has special, unique mechanics to add high-level difficulty back!

The beauty of this game lies in its unique characters. All possessing a futuristic tech of some kind, every fighter plays around with some additional mechanic they need to manage effectively in the match.
