What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe that Nerd Simulator is the kind of game that benefits from direct community feedback. The game combines many mechanics with a (un)healthy dose of absurdity, and there are countless directions it can grow.

Early Access allows us to refine the gameplay loop, balance the mini-games, and make sure the comedy lands as it should - together with the players!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Early Access to last around 6–12 months. This will give us enough time to polish the existing systems, expand the storylines, and add the planned content without dragging development indefinitely.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Nerd Simulator will expand significantly on what’s already available in Early Access. We plan to add:

- More storylines with multiple endings, giving Mervin’s misadventures even more ridiculous twists and outcomes.
- New absurd jobs and side hustles

Beyond new content, the full release will include a more polished progression system, improved balance, and overall quality-of-life updates.

We’re also planning full localization into additional languages, along with achievements and leaderboards to give players more long-term goals.

In short, the complete version will be a richer, more polished experience that builds on the humor and chaos of the Early Access release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the beginning of Mervin’s story, mainly as an introduction to the world and characters that will later branch into different storylines.

Players can try out a set of mini-games covering Mervin’s absurd jobs, customize his room, and progress through the basics of his chaotic life.

Most importantly, the game is already packed with plenty of absurd humor!

That said, some bugs may still occur and occasionally disrupt the experience, but we’re working hard to fix them quickly and improve the game with every update.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The Early Access version will be available at a slightly lower price. As we add more content and approach the full release, the price will increase to reflect the added value.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to be a part of shaping Mervin’s journey. Players can share feedback through the Steam forums and our Discord.

We’ll actively listen to suggestions about new mini-games, story ideas, and quality-of-life improvements.

Regular updates and devlogs will keep everyone in the loop, and community input will directly influence what gets prioritized.”

About This Game

Forty years old, no savings, no plan, and a mom who waits for rent every single week. Welcome to Mervin’s world – the adulthood simulator where every task spirals out of control faster than you can blink.

About the Game

Your goal is simple. Earn enough money to finally move out of your mom’s house. How you do it? That’s up to you…

Try your luck at the casino, go all in on crypto, or befriend some shady characters! Just remember—you can lose everything just as fast, and when that happens…

Honest work? A nightmare. But sometimes it’s the only option. Mow lawns, scrub toilets, or work at the garbage sorting facility—earn slowly, but honestly!

Short on cash for rent? Pick up a side gig dancing at a strip club. Completely broke? Challenge your mom to a fistfight!

Life isn’t just about work. Hit the gym, paint some pictures, or befriend a goldfish so you don’t lose your mind.

In this world, nothing is normal. Dialogues drip with dark humor, characters balance on the edge of absurdity, and at every step you’ll be asking yourself: “WTF?!”

What’s Inside?

  • A wild storyline packed with absurd choices and unpredictable consequences

  • A unique mix of 2D and 3D tasks, a fully interactive room, and Mervin’s command center – his Doors XD computer

  • Dozens of absurd mini-games inspired by Mervin’s most ridiculous jobs and side hustles

  • Room customization and a progression system shaping your chaotic lifestyle

  • Black humor dialogues and a cast of bizarre, over-the-top characters

  • Everyday activities to (barely) keep Mervin sane: gym, painting, weird hobbies, and much more

Add Nerd Simulator to your wishlist and get ready for the weirdest adulthood simulation ever…
