Dynamic Abilities

Dash, slash, and soar through the air with 10 uniquely powerful movements systems like the rocket-like Fire Burst, the fearsome Silver Slash, the jet-like Water Pulse, the grappling hook-like Life's Grasp and more.

Versatile Elemental Combat

Master quick, damaging shots with hit-scan needles, powerful projectile beams with knockback, and devastating sword slashes, as well as hundreds of Hidden Arts.
Each of these types of attack can be infused with any of the 10 elements (or perhaps a fusion thereof), each with it's own unique elemental properties.

Multiplayer First

XEN is currently being developed with server-authoritative rollback netcode as it's main focus and priority, as robust networking is the foundation for truly enjoyable online play.


XEN is designed from the ground up to be easy to learn and enjoy but impossible to master, meaning your skills with movement, bullet and blade will be tested to the utmost. Every move is a strategic decision and every battle is a test of your agility.
