The Steam Next Fest Demo only includes early versions of Local Mode and Streamer Mode.

The Impostor is a unique social deception game, where you play either as an impostor, pretending to be an AI, or as the detective, who is trying to expose the impostor.

The detective picks a question for the impostor to answer. The impostor must write an answer which will sound like it is AI-written. The impostor loses the round if he is exposed.

There are several game modes, each of which puts a new spin on this system.

• Campaign Mode - Hone your human-detection skills.

• Online Mode - Play with other friends who own the game.

• Local Mode - Play locally on one computer, taking turns.

• Streamer Mode - Play with your stream chat.

The game is currently in the process of being tested and built in public, and should be ready around March.
