What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As an independent developer, I need to continuously add capacity and features during the development process. I hope that players can participate and provide continuous feedback to ensure the progress of the entire game content is on the right track.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Under the expected circumstances, the early access stage could last for about half a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access version is primarily used to validate the game's mechanics and core feature designs. As a card game, the early access version will include elements such as card battles, collection, and fusion. In order to enhance the immersion, I plan to add story, branches, and richer cut-scenes in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current early access version has completed the design of the core playable part and is gradually filling in the game levels, enemies, and some peripheral game systems. We anticipate a pace of updates once a month.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game at a lower price during the early access period compared to after the end of early access. And I plan to add more content and provides a better gaming experience.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We primarily use social software for players to provide feedback. If the feedback is adopted, we will add the players to the game production list or include some special items / characters in the official version of the game as a thank you for the players' help.”

About This Game

The setting of "The World 21" takes place in a world known as "The Land of Gloom", where the generally accepted "currency of power" is a type of soul shard made into chips. The protagonist also owes an unwieldy debt of soul shards. However, suddenly, the ancient god "Verus" chooses the protagonist to become a "debt collector", granting him the power to control poker to collect all souls loaned by Verus but not yet returned.

The poker cards have been endowed with mysterious power, capable of summoning various powerful creatures and spells to assist the players in battle. Each card represents a creature or spell from The Land of Gloom, all with their unique characteristics and abilities. Players need to use strategy and luck to draw and use these cards to gain an advantage in combat.
