Why Early Access?

“Adding all the planned content will undoubtedly take a long time. Releasing in Early Access allows me to ship content gradually and gather player feedback to improve the game as it expands.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's hard to pinpoint a specific time frame, but the game will remain in Early Access for likely at least one or two years. The plan is to keep adding new content during the Early Access time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for the full game to include more items, crafting recipes, stations, NPCs, levels and missions. Expanding the story to be complete is also part of the plan.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access currently has all of the basic features in place. It is however lacking in content, having only a few Levels, as well as a reduced number of recipes and items.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The plan is to keep the game free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“There is an official Discord server for the game as well as a feedback button in the game. People can submit any sort of feedback, suggestions or bug reports in either.”

About This Game

OUT OF BOUNDS is a first-person survival sandbox set in the Backrooms. Will you survive long enough to find an exit, or will you perish to the dangers lurking in this never-ending nightmare?




Fully Interactable Levels

Explore a variety of levels with unique resources and dangers.
Every object can be moved around with physics or can be interacted with; If you see it, you can do something with it.



Extensive Tech Tree and Crafting

Various crafting recipes for you to discover and unlock through a vast tech tree.
Bandages, makeshift weapons, electrical and mechanical components and parts. Every recipe has its purpose.



Build a Base With Anything

Almost every object can be moved around freely and can be anchored and fixed in place.
Make a base to store your resources and keep all your working stations, while staying safe from the dangers lurking in the dark.



Survive With Friends

Bring your friends to help you fight against the odds in this twisted reality.
Work together to gather resources and food, explore and build your fortress.
