About This Game

Block 17 is a fantastic action game with elements of horror, created in pixel-art style.

In the game you have to find a way out of the prison on the planet Mars, swarming with monsters. You will be accompanied by a bot, which in normal situation is intended for repair, but circumstances forced it to become your assistant not only in repairing electrical networks, but also in destroying disgusting creatures.

Find secrets, move along the gloomy corridors of the prison, explore the rooms, pump weapons and abilities of the bot and then maybe you will be lucky in the next battle with the boss.

We try to create a strong atmosphere of crushing horror in our game. Despite the fact that it is a platformer in pixel-art style, we try to make the game realistic, logical and elaborated, so that the player has a feeling of the real world.

The main character is a mechanic who is summoned to a high-security prison located on Mars to fix a malfunction in the electrical system. But no sooner does he start than the lights go out, our hero hits and loses consciousness, and when he wakes up, he finds himself in a prison swarming with creepy creatures.

What happened? How to get out now? These are the questions you will have to answer.

Of course, we were inspired by quite famous works of science fiction, but still we tried to bring something new to our product.

In the game the hero will have to confront the artificial intelligence, which was created in order to maintain order in the prison, as well as the intelligent biological substance, which is trying to escape from the prison to the open settlement. As the game progresses, you will have to choose which side to take, and who knows where that choice might lead you.

In the game Block 17 there are many different enemies that will not only scare you with their appearance, but also create a lot of difficult situations from which the player will have to get out. We try to create many different enemies with unique abilities.

In addition, there will be a lot of secrets in the game, which will hide either interesting information or useful items, as well as elements of the environment, which are designed to shed light on what is happening.

We put a lot of work into the visuals, as they are a huge part of the atmosphere. Even though the graphics are pixelated, we are constantly developing our own solutions to make the light or glare work as spectacularly as possible.
