關於此遊戲

因无限能源「阿迦奢粒子」的发现而获得飞跃性发展的近未来。

与此同时出现的「巨兽」，却让人类从生态系的顶点跌落。

为了守护自身的生存空间，人类中出现了一批驾驶巨大人型兵器「外装」的「佣兵」。

因遭遇事故失去与阿迦奢粒子适应性的主人公，漫无目的地过着被世人抛弃的流浪生活。

然而，他遇见了一位少女。

少女立志成为外装技师，继承了已故母亲的设计图纸制作外装，但这台外装却因不使用粒子而被揶揄是逆时代的“古董”产物。

失去粒子适应性的次品佣兵，设计无需粒子启动的外装的少女。当这两者相遇时，故事的齿轮开始缓缓转动。
