About This Game

One thought. A thousand blades.

Begin with a single flying sword and build your own way of fighting through the hordes of Yunque. 一念万剑 is a survivor roguelite inspired by Chinese cultivation fantasy. Your blades attack automatically; you choose where to move, when to dash, which rewards to collect, and when to unleash a storm of swords.

Three sword forms. One evolving build.

Send flying blades through enemy lines, break armor with heavy swords, and protect your surroundings with orbiting blades. Learn all three forms in the same run, then combine them with faster attacks, critical hits, explosions and slowing effects. Fulfill their requirements to awaken pursuit blades, ground-shaking impacts and a second ring of orbiting swords.

Break through the horde

Enemies keep coming, and fresh reinforcements follow your clears. Read charge paths and ground warnings, keep an escape route, and dash through danger. Build Intent and release your ultimate into a crowded battlefield. Evading an actual attack during a dash also rewards you with Intent.

Defeat elites. Claim a Pact.

Marked elites drop collectible caches with cultivation XP, recovery or an extra Sword Art choice. Defeat the Warden and claim a golden Pact Cache to choose one of three mechanics for the run. Strengthen pursuit attacks, add shockwaves, or expand your sword domain to complement the Arts you have learned.

Prepare for your next attempt

Spend Essence earned in battle on permanent training and Seal techniques, opening new choices for your next run. Keep a record of your discoveries and awakenings. New attempts also change the arrangement of pines, rocks and temples, giving you new paths and fighting positions to consider.
