About This Game

Chef Van is a 2D cooking-and-life game that keeps the kitchen rush and the quiet island in the same day. You roll onto Yuyu Island in your RV. By daylight you can take a Chefs' Guild commission, cook in kitchens across the world, and trade a good plate for gold. Or you can ease off: plant a little, dress the van, and talk whoever's on the path.

Cooking Commissions

Take a job, step into a kitchen somewhere in the world, and cook it yourself—whatever the rush throws at you.

Cook it yourself: Chop, sear, bake. Every step is yours.

Bring your own ingredients: Carry in the good stuff you grew and gathered. The plate comes out fresher, and it tastes like it.

A pinch of roguelike: Guests arrive in waves. Clear a wave, pick a buff, and make the next one pay.

Reviews and chests: Happy guests leave good reviews. Fill the chest, and a little surprise is waiting.

Wave events: Before each round, something unexpected walks in. Even the regulars can catch you off guard.

Island Life

When the commission's done, Yuyu Island is still there—the views, the harvest, the neighbors—waiting for you to make that RV feel like home.

Four seasons: The island is generous. Spring through winter, sun, rain, and snow.

Island harvest: Farm, fish, forage. Bring it home.

Neighbors: Talk, drop by, and let friendship take its time.

Clothes and furniture: Gold from commissions buys new outfits and pieces for the van.

Upgrade the RV: Little by little, make it look like you.
