Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We plan to launch the game in Early Access as a local multiplayer experience + Remote Play Together for up to 4 players. For the full release, we plan to include online modes, additional game modes, and a solo/co-op adventure mode.

We decided to release this game in Early Access to involve the community in its development. The core gameplay is already fun and stable, but we would like to expand it together with players adding new maps, game modes, skins, and refining the balance based on feedback.

Our goal is to make this the ultimate local (and later online) multiplayer experience, and Early Access allows us to test and improve the game while keeping players engaged.

We’re planning on releasing regular updates, listening to community suggestions, and reaching the full release once we feel the game has enough content and polish to represent our original vision.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to roll out multiple updates throughout the Early Access period. While the timeline may vary, our goal is to deliver the full game within ~ a year of the Early Access launch.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Online play would let us go beyond 4 players in a match. In the full release, we aim to offer a complete adventure mode with story elements related to Starbump. We also plan to add new maps, modes, and items to keep the gameplay experience evolving.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently working on both local play and exploring options for online matchmaking. The online service would need stress testing and optimization, but the demo is ready”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be available at a lower price during Early Access, with a slightly higher price planned for the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’d love for the community to join us during next Steam Neo Fest ahead of the official release. Come chat with us on our socials too! We're planning on streaming the development on Twitch during winter. We'd like to gather many feedbacks for the game, if you have any please provide them through any of our socials!”

About This Game

The Game where YOU'RE the Star !

Starbump is a wild party platformer where you bounce, bump, and battle peers in colorful worlds.
It plays just like your favorite 3D platformer classics- if you tossed in friends, chaos, and a whole lot of bumping.

Take control of the Gummies : agile, jelly-like star creatures

...And compete with friends in fast-paced battles across the galaxy!

Currently with four announced game modes, each offering a distinct experience:

Parkour

Race for glory! Compete to reach the final platform first!

You can knock opponents aside, but they’ll bounce back quickly! so choose your battles wisely!

Each run features randomly generated parkour chunks, keeping every race fresh.

If you fall, you’ll respawn at the last life-platform you touched, don’t skip them!

The round ends once a player claims the final platform and finishes the race for everyone!

Arena

A relentless cozy-brawl ! Eject your opponent!

Knock your opponents out of the stage! Each hit makes them stay unconscious longer, giving others more chances

to toss them out.

Grab wacky weapons like boxing gloves, soda cans, boom-boom guns, or sticky bombs to spice things up.

With many unique arenas each with its own special twist, the fight quickly turns into a chaotic, hilarious battlefield.

In the end, it’s less about winning and more about how spectacularly you send your friends flying!

only the most cunning (and the most shamelessly lucky) will survive this madness!

Rocketball

Rock that gummy! Spin at the right time!

In this mode, rockets are flying everywhere and your only hope is to swat them back with a perfectly timed magic spin! Each time someone deflects the rocket, it speeds up, bouncing around faster and faster until chaos takes over.

Keep your cool, trust your reflexes, and pray you’re not the gummy who blinks first… because, as always, the last gummy standing takes the win!

Tag

Crown Chase! Keep the crown as long as you can!

Your mission is simple: climb to the top and snatch the crown! But don’t expect an easy ride… everyone else is scrambling, pushing, and shoving to reach it too!

Once you’ve got it, your score starts climbing… but one touch from another player and it’s stolen right off your head.

The gameplay quickly turns into a wild chase full of betrayals, last-second steals, and nonstop shouting at your friends! (and honestly, that’s exactly the point.)

Future new modes will expand on these mechanics, adding variety and replayability.

Features

Starbump is all about fun, friendship, and a little bit of rivalry. Grab your controller, gather your pals, and get ready to turn every match into a story you’ll still be laughing about tomorrow

Complete moveset, nice skillcurve

Cool maps and events

Cool weapons

Schedule

We plan on adding up to 7 game modes in the early access release, like a race mode, touchdown, and others. Also a story adventure introduction will be available in coop or solo. And of course always adding skins and items

The Starbump universe is ever expanding, two new worlds, fire and ice will be added for early access and more later in free updates.

We are planning this early access release for Q1 2026, with a public demo just before, around February of this next year.

After that we will be working on the final release for what we hope less than a year, with online support and complete adventure mode.

Console porting and new online specific game modes are in our objectives but still far.

Our philosophy

As two indie developers, we believe in real craft, not shortcuts. Everything in our game is built by hand, without AI.
We also plan on having no paid update, no in-game purchase, no time-limited items, everything is in the game you paid once, in the way of old school gaming practices.
