“As an experimental project that will evolve with new advances in AI, Latens will be in continuous development. We want users to experiment with the game from its earliest stages. User feedback will be invaluable for iterating and improving the features of Latens as it grows and evolves.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Latens will remain in Early Access until we have a sufficiently solid and polished version, which could take between 3 to 18 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The goal is to refine various aspects of the current version to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, we plan for the project to continuously evolve, adding new features and improving existing ones. There may be changes between the initial version and future versions as development progresses.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Latens is fully playable and offers users basic tools to experiment with real-time AI-generated dreamlike environments. Players can interact with the "entropic canvas" and see how their inputs generate and modify the scene.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“For now, the game will have free access, but at some point, we plan to include paid features and DLC. After analyzing performance, we will evaluate the pricing and may consider changing from free access to a paid model.”
