About This Game

Fantasy Football Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG where medieval warriors clash—by playing football! Journey across the Queendom, outscore your rivals in intense 4v4 battles, and unlock powerful abilities to build your ultimate team of champions.

Gameplay

• Make decisions for your team and outwit the competition in 4v4 turn-based tactical football matches.

• Single player Adventure Mode + Local PVP.

• Move and perform one action on each turn, in any order.

• Gain possession of the ball and throw or carry it to the goal zone–how you do it is up to you!

• The first team to score two goals wins.

• Deal damage to opponents to increase the likelihood that they’ll fumble, or WALLOP them completely to force SUPER FUMBLES that fly across the field.

• Unleash magical spells from a distance or powerful sacks and tackles up close.

• Use special abilities to throw the ball, heal your players, move across the field, buff your team or slow down your opponent.

• Unlock the full potential of your team by leveraging natural elements of the terrain.

• Teach your team powerful new abilities as you quest across 16 unique playfields in the Queendom.

• Draft players to your team across 8 distinct Positions—similar to classes or jobs in traditional RPGs.

• Earn EXP on each action to level up and increase your stats.

• Did you make a decision that's not turning out so well? No sweat! The built-in Rewind and Undo Move features lets you try again easily.

• Quick Match mode lets you customize match rules to play against the CPU or a friend.

• Each playfield is lovingly handcrafted with a 1990's low-poly aesthetic.

Story

Once upon a time, all political and land disputes were settled with countless battles, assassinations and brutal war. After thousands perished over centuries, The Queendom has become cultured and found peace. Weapons have been cast aside and warriors and mages have repurposed their battle skills for the sport of football. States no longer attain power through armies, but through victory in sport. Pick your home turf and become champions of the land!

Drafting Your Team

Build any combination of players across 8 distinct Positions. Yes, you can do an all-Balancer run if you’d like. What's a Balancer? I’m glad you asked!

• Balancer: Descendants of The Great Healers, Balancers play a pivotal role in keeping your team upright and hanging on to the ball. Their legendary ability to heal the wounds of warriors on the battlefield has been repurposed to improve the focus and fortitude of their teammates.

• Thrower: What once was outlawed has become the Thrower's specialty: The Forward Pass. Now seen as the centerpiece of a great offense, Throwers are natural leaders of their teams and are experts in lobbing the ball down the field.

• Striker: Fast and powerful with the ball in their hands, Strikers are aptly named for the fear they strike in the hearts of opponents. Dangerous when paired with a capable Thrower.

• Caster: Intelligent, introspective and quiet, Casters channel the Chaotic Divine to summon elemental attacks on their opponents from a distance. They are not known for their strength.

• Blocker: While not particularly adept at carrying the ball themselves, a great Blocker can clear a path and disrupt even the best defense. Strong and sturdy from carrying giant shields, Blockers make effective bulldozers.

• Defender: Trained from a young age, Defenders dislike nothing more than giving up a goal. Experts in tackling and forcing fumbles, Defenders use their miraculous strength to cause great havoc.

• Supporter: Known as the greatest fans in the Queendom, Supporters first appeared on the sidelines to cheer on their favorite teams. Years later, their devotion and impact became so tangible that teams started recruiting them to help on the field of play.

• Gamebreaker: While their source of power is a mystery, a Gamebreaker changes and impacts the game in unpredictable ways. Creative and clever, Gamebreakers are always the life of the party. How do they do it?
