Why Early Access?

“I developed the first Containment Initiative for Early Access and it greatly benefited from the ongoing feedback during that period. I believe everything about Containment Initiative 2 will also benefit from continuous feedback during this Early Access period and will make the product better for it. My goal is to work directly with the community to create a final product that will be even better than the game that came before it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm targeting approximately 6-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I would like to add content in the form of weapons, maps, and gameplay features. I also want to solicit feedback to flesh out new interactions between the VR and PC player to make the game even more exciting.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has around 3-5 hours of play time to unlock everything. There are multiple areas to explore and currently there are 6 guns to unlock. There are also plenty of upgrades that the player can craft. Local co-op is also fully functional.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game will go up in price when it is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I encourage everyone to join the Containment Initiative Discord to join in on the development process. I'm always looking for feedback from new players and very much enjoy making additions based on their feedback.”
