Why Early Access?

“I am launching this game in Early Access to actively involve players in its development. As a replayable roguelite, this game has many possible directions—whether it's adding new characters, items, areas, or refining in-game mechanics. Early Access allows me to prioritize what players find most enjoyable and useful. This approach also helps us fine-tune the game’s balance. Player feedback will be invaluable in shaping the challenge level and ensuring all content offers a fair, engaging experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I estimate that Early Access will last about 3–6 months, during which time I'll be adding polish, balancing gameplay, and adding some new features based on player feedback. While I am launching the game in what can be considered a complete state, I would like to add more content and make the experience more balanced with the help of the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I aim for the full version to be more refined and balanced, with any adjustments that enhance the player experience. Based on player input, I hope to add content such as new characters, events, and potentially areas. However, future additions will depend on feedback and may evolve over time.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version has all the features advertised in the "About this game" section! That includes 30 character classes, 5 distinct biomes to explore, dozens of items to customize your experience, unlockables and even some post-game content to explore!

For all intents and purposes, the game is complete but the goal is to further balance the experience and add more content based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, Early Access players will receive the game at a lower price as a thank-you for their early support. The price will increase for the full release, with any future pricing adjustments influenced by the added content and community feedback.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am committed to building the game alongside its players. Community members can provide feedback through email and Discord as well as surveys and polls early adopters can opt into to provide feedback.”

Fairytale creatures have been hunted to near extinction and a mad-man has captured the last of the Pixies... well, almost!

Actually, one Pixie managed to make it away. I hear she's the cutest and smartest one of the whole bunch! Oh, actually, I have a picture of her right here!

Ahem... travel across 5 different biomes including meadows, deserts, forests, graveyards, and volcanic plains.

Meet and recruit over 30 different heroes with unique fantasy classes. With only 4 slots in your party, you must decide who will take up that precious space. Physical attackers, spellcasters, healers, multi-target damage dealers, negative status slingers, buffers... you must decide what combination will lead you to victory.

Feel free to relax or even multitask! Pixel Pixie is an AUTO-BATTLER. Make strategic decisions related to your party composition and what upgrades to spend your money on. Once a battle starts, your team will take care of the rest!

Make strategic use of your hard-won items in between battles. Stocking enough goods could make the difference between a harrowing victory and a soul-crushing defeat.

Permanent progression! While every new attempt will have you start over with no recruits, items, or relics, you can unlock permanent upgrades using in-game currency to give your party a leg up! Systematically improve the quality of your starting party as well as the contents of your backpack and wallet with each new attempt.
