Why Early Access?

“We've been developing this game for three years now, with a tiny team and a grand vision. Releasing the game in Early Access allows us to maintain development on a product we deeply care about and helps us improve it alongside the community's feedback, something we believe is crucial to making games reach their full potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our demo has been out for over a year, and during this period, we've received lots of feedback. It was like running a free Earlier Early Access. Due to that, we expect Early Access to last for around least half a year, but this might change according to player feedback and overall satisfaction with the final product. We don't plan on rushing or delaying things by large amounts of time. Our goal is to release it once we're collectively satisfied with how fun the game feels.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently, the game's core is solid and has many of the unique elements of our creative vision, but we still have much more planned content that requires time to implement. Our vision for a full version of E-Lich: Corporate Souls includes lots of content that make up for dozens of hours of gameplay and hundreds of possibilities on every run. We're planning new game modes, new maps with unique mechanics, more playable characters and unique NPCs, a longer and better narrative and more meta-progression options!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version contains over 80 boon options, 15+ spells, more than 20 talents, 5 playable characters with unique weapons and different playstyles, 2 boss tiers, around 10 unique NPCs with interactive dialogues and storylines, a carefully crafted and upgradable lobby, and of course, a ridiculous amount of jokes and funny references.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As our game continues to evolve throughout Early Access with polishing and the addition of more content, we anticipate increasing the price at release to better capture the enhanced value it brings to our players.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Be it between our team members or between us and our players, we believe that transparent and effective communication is the key to developing a successful product. Great games thrive alongside great communities, and E-Lich is no different. We're actively listening to player feedback over on our Discord server and over the amazing physical events we've been lucky to participate and showcase our Demo on.

Players can reach out to us over our Discord server, or through the Steam Forums, which we also check often (just not as regularly as Discord). We're also looking at implementing a feature in the near future to let players report bugs and give feedback directly from the game.”
