“We've made, to be honest, a BONKERS amount of progress in a rather short time - but acknowledge that the journey is just beginning. Our best estimate is at least one year of early access while we fine-tune our unique control scheme and build out a system of more traditional game objectives, rewards, achievements, etc.”

“SkateLab's full release is intended to feature a more refined control system - one that's both more intuitive, and offers more freedom than anything else in the genre. This is our top priority and will continue to be the driving force toward a final release.

That said, we'd also like the full release to include a number of skill-games - things like racing, obstacle courses, physics puzzles and other unique ways to exercise board control!”

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

“Through direct feedback and frequent communication with players. We would also love to foster an active modding community, providing templates for levels, board designs and other assets; and streamlining the modding process as much as possible. This is SkateLAB and we want the community to join in the experiments.”
