About This Game

My Final Cursed Days is a fantasy, dungeon-crawling RPG made for the Game Boy! Play through your own story over the course of a few months of in-game time (currently about 1hr in real-time) as you make your way through the period of your life left before the curse takes its nebulous effect. As your days go by, enjoy the following features in the game:

+ Day and night life-simulation-style time-management as you use your remaining days in the portal village getting to know the local characters, some of which only set themselves up after word has gotten around of your dungeoneering efforts!
+ First-person dungeon-crawling with combat that's done in a semi-active, turn-based style. This makes encounters more tactical in a way that might be especially rewarding for more puzzle-minded players, but still very manageable and open to many different setups~
+ Character customization including your starting stats, physical attributes, and what spells, items, and other effects you bring with you into the dungeon. These things can and will change as you play, sometimes voluntarily, sometimes not. So don't get too attached, maybe!
+ Have a chat with any NPC in the village to build relationships with them! Some might be just for fun, some might have useful information for you, but carry on the conversation well and you might unlock new village features~
+ Discover hidden items and other strange things in the dungeon by entering Search Mode to scour certain areas in point-and-click style! You aren't the first dungeoneer to be here, and some of the previous ones left things behind, for all kinds of reasons, let's just say. You can make use of some of it, but some things might be best brought back to someone more knowledgeable.

Brought into the world as the sacrificial bird for a nest of snakes...

You were born only to be used by others as the living vessel for a powerful magic lineage. You've lived your life knowing that the curse placed on you would take effect someday, with only speculation on what that might even mean. When you find out there's a small village that used to host those who do the dangerous work known as "dungeoneering"- crossing a portal into the strange labyrinths known as dungeons in the hopes of returning with objects of magical power- you know you have to go there. With word coming to you that you've got only a short time left before the curse fully manifests itself, you decide to use whatever time you have to try and find some way to put a stop to it here. So having nothing left to lose, and the potential to find a powerful enough magic item to cure the deepest curse, becoming a dungeoneer it is! But can you even manage against the monsters, magic, and misery of these places? Do you even want to..?
