A young adult, Aylen, is an online personality who loves horror games. As she was shooting the intro for her next Let's Play, her biggest fan kidnaps her. There are only two means for escape: examine the area and begin plotting, or try your charisma and get an edge over him.

Относно тази игра


Captive: You Are My Idol is a fictional game where the player is kidnapped by their biggest fan and with the delusion that they belong together. During the day, Aylen is encouraged to play his game, and during the evening, she is brought upstairs to enjoy his home-cooked dinners. These dinners are the most critical moments for Aylen. Will you, as Aylen, decide to investigate your surroundings and plot your escape? Or will you attempt to charm your kidnapper into believing you are interested in him, so that you may strike at the best opportunity? Then again, there's always the third option, the option, where the first two never had a chance of existing in the first place.

Message from the developer
Hi, I'm TheOdie, creator of Captive: You Are My Idol (referred to as Captive from here on out) and the one and only person of NightmarePug Studios. Captive, like most games I strive to make, was to push the boundaries of RPG Maker without needing to learn computer programming language. In some ways, you can consider my games as experimental horror games. Anyway, the unique concept here is to use 2D and 3D to greatly emphasize the horror and drama of each scene, while also creating new environments for gameplay with each perspective.

The story of Captive and its diverse routes of gameplay has been something that's been in the works since 2020. I hope you find one route entertaining and enjoyable enough to see where the other routes take you :).
