Story

You are PROT, an abandoned robot. A young woman named Cass contacts you to enlist your help rescuing her family. Use your creative skills, wits, and the items you find to construct a space ship and other devices. The fate of Cass's family is in your hands.

Features

• Sci-fi Robot Odyssey

Utilise a variety of quirky robots, machines and organic inhabitants of the moons to solve challenges and progress. Through discarded sketches, notes and messages from Cass, discover the stories of her family members.

• Real-time Immersive Space

Robots, machines and creatures continue moving, processing and eating whether the "game" is running or not. Everything on the moons remains where you left it, or of course, where it would be, had you left the game running. Optionally: be kept up to date via emails from Cass and Prot when you're engaged in your "real" life.

• Life and no Death

Choices matter in Prot: there is no option to load a save or restart a checkpoint (although once complete you are free to restart the game, or continue exploring). Time continues uninterrupted with no rewind. Luckily there is no death (for Prot at least): Prot’s automatic teleport system will take him to safety if near destruction.

• Make Stuff

Everything you can collect is recyclable, and can be re-created using a Fabricator (provided you have the blueprint). Fabricate new bombs from the fragments of exploded bombs. Convert water (H20) into Hydrogen and Oxygen to fuel your space rocket.

• Play Your Own Way

Use your intelligence to solve problems creatively. Doors can be blown off or the key can be found. Weevils can be whacked in their nest, or captured in other ways. Enemy robots can be destroyed or….well I don’t want to give too much away.
