Why Early Access?

“I intend to release an early access version of the game so that I can gather feedback from players and improve their experience.
There are currently a number of goals planned to improve the gameplay experience, such as 4 player partners, a difficulty progression system, various ghost events and additional maps.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I don't have an exact release date for the full game yet. However, the goal is to have it completed by the end of 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access experience is a single player survival and ghost banishing experience. For the full game release, it is planned to feature a 4-player online co-operative, more maps, various ghost events and a progression system focused on improving the gameplay experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the game has a ghost hunting experience based on evidence gathering and inferring ghost behaviour.
The first major feature is the ghost's behaviour, which you must deduce as you collect evidence. The behaviours currently implemented are protection of an area, fleeing from players and relentless wandering.
In order to collect evidence, you can use tools such as video cameras, ultraviolet light and microwaves.
Based on the behaviour and evidence collected, you must deduce what type of ghost is haunting the building.
There are currently six ghost types Banshee, Demon, Poltergeist, Spirit, Curse and Torment.
When you go looking for evidence, you must manage your stamina indicator to be able to escape in dangerous situations.
Another major resource is the anxiety indicator, which increases as you see paranormal activity. With high anxiety, your stamina recovers much slower and you are in a dangerous position when the ghosts start hunting you. During the hunt, your low anxiety may be crucial to surviving the attack, as the ghost won't kill you on the first hit if you manage it correctly. To manage your anxiety, you must look for the drug on the map and use it carefully, as it is a scarce resource.
Even if you are searching an abandoned building, not all doors are easy to open, some locks have keys while others have boards blocking it, so you must search for tools such as shafts and keys to search for resources.
All spawned resources, medicine kits, keys, axes, locked doors, ghost events and ghost types are randomly assigned at the start of the game, so every replay is a new experience.
All the features described above are implemented in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the idea is to have the same pricing on early access and full release of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As the game has features such as ghost behaviour, evidence gathering, resource management, spooky events and jump scares, I plan to analyse player feedback to balance these features and guide development to make the experience fun and enjoyable to replay.
All decisions regarding further development of the game will be based on player feedback. Improving or creating new spooky events, spooky behaviour, new evidence and resources are the main ideas for further development.”
