What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“In the modern gaming industry, finishing a game before selling it is considered 'old fashioned.' We’re embracing that meta by launching in Early Access. To be entirely clear to the lawyers: development is fully funded, and we are 100% committed to reaching our 1.0 release regardless of how many copies we sell. We don't need your money to finish the game... we just really, really want it.

While we’d love to just shrug at bugs and say, 'It’s a beta, bro,' we’re actually using this period to let the community be our unpaid QA department. Early Access provides the perfect environment for us to bridge the gap between our current 'lack of features' and the final vision. Our goal is to take your feedback and use it to shape the game, ensuring that our glorious meme eventually becomes a fully realized, polished product. (Day-one cosmetic DLC pending).”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to follow the noble tradition of legendary survival games by staying in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. > While the 'heat death of the universe' is our ultimate deadline, we figure we can probably achieve the perfect meta-commentary on the industry by mid-2027. We’ll keep the 'Early Access' tag for as long as it takes to reach that mythical '1.0' status, or until we’ve successfully emulated every Alpha-stage trope known to man. Don't worry; we aren't going anywhere—we're committed to this 'work-in-progress' aesthetic for at least the next year and a half.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Following the industry standard of making ambitious promises, we have a roadmap that is as 'ambitious' as it is flexible. While we’d love to promise 'Multiplayer Diamond Raids' or a 'Battle Royale Mode' just for the hype, the full version is primarily focused on perfecting the core 'Display' experience.

The 1.0 version is planned to differ by featuring refined UI elements, optimized performance, and yes, potentially even fixing that one typo in the main menu. We plan to add more [mention one thing, e.g., 'Levels' or 'Diamond Types'] to ensure the game feels 'complete' enough to justify a price increase. The goal is for the full version to look like this one, but with enough extra polish and community-requested 'essential features' that we can finally drop the safety net of the Beta tag.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Shockingly stable. Unlike other Early Access titles, our game does not crash every 5 minutes because there is no code to crash. The 'Diamond Spinning' mechanic is fully implemented. The 'Spend Money' button has been rigorously tested and works flawlessly. It is feature-complete in its emptiness.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to raise the price as our ego grows. We are currently charging a premium for 'Early Adopters,' but we plan to charge a 'Legacy Tax' for the full release. Buying now ensures you waste your money at the most efficient rate possible before we decide to inflate the price for no reason.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“While we believe 'The Diamond' is already approaching perfection, we recognize that the community’s role is to help us reach that final 1% of enlightenment. We are opening our Steam Discussion boards not just for players to compare their wealth, but to serve as a feedback loop for 'artistic calibration.' > We will be monitoring the forums for 'observational data' (what some might call bug reports) to ensure the 'void' remains stable. While we’ll likely mock the suggestion of 'making it a cube,' we are committed to reviewing community feedback to see which additional 'Display' features or 'Diamond' variants the market is willing to fund. Your capital gives you a voice in our development roadmap; we’ll be using our preferred communication methods—Steam Forums —to let you know which of your ideas are worthy of being added to the 'perfect' experience.”

About This Game

Diamond Display: The First Honest "Pay-to-Win" Experience.

Are you tired of "AAA" games launching with game-breaking bugs? Exhausted by "free-to-play" titles that pretend to be fun but are actually just psychological traps to sell you gems?

We fixed the gaming industry by removing the worst part: The Game.

Diamond Display delivers exactly what the modern market craves—pure, unadulterated spending power with absolutely zero functional value. We have cut out the annoying "gameplay" loop, the glitchy NPCs, and the bad storylines to bring you the only feature that matters: A High-Fidelity Spinning Diamond.

Features (Yes, this is the whole list):

  • The Diamond: It spins. It shines. It does literally nothing else. It is optimized to never crash because there is no code to break.

  • The "Gameplay": There isn't any. You cannot move, you cannot shoot, and you cannot jump. You can only gaze upon the asset.

  • Leaderboards & Achievements: Finally, a leaderboard that doesn’t measure skill, but purely financial irresponsibility. Unlock achievements solely by proving you can afford them.

This is a satirical monument to the state of modern gaming. It is a digital paperweight for the elite. Do not download this expecting entertainment, challenges, or content. Download this to look down on everyone else from the top of the Global Wealth Leaderboard.

Diamond Display: You don't play it. You afford it.
