Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Players feedback in Early Access will help shape the world of Die Trying. At Foulball Hangover, one of our core philosophies is listening to player feedback (And not publishers!) to sculpt incredible gaming experiences.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

When it's ready, it's ready. Although frequent content updates is something we strive to achieve throughout Early Access to give players lots to chew on throughout the development, we don't want to rush to 1.0. We'll keep refining the game until it's packed full of content. We approximate this will be around two years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay features of Die Trying are a great foundation for us to add content on top of, such as:
  • Huge map additions.
  • New weapons.
  • New quests.
  • New mechanics.
  • End game raids.
  • And more!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Check out the "About This Game" section at our Early Access release to see features Die Trying already has to offer. There's a lot of content already packed into the game at our Early Access launch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As with our previous title, Hydroneer, we aim to sell the game at a lower price-tag than what it should be. This is so players get the best deal when purchasing our games.
With that being said, the Early Access pricing will be cheaper than the final price-tag upon release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play a crucial role in the direction that Die Trying will take. We encourage players to reach out to us on Discord, Reddit, Steam Forums, and our YouTube channel. Your suggestions / complaints / praises will be fed directly into our dynamic roadmap so we can develop with the community in mind at every step.”

About This Game

The Pecking Order Just Got Violent!

What happens when scientists give chickens nipples to make their own milk brand? Chaos, obviously. Now there’s zombies. Explore the city, shoot the infected, avoid the living, and help yourself to the loot of the freshly horizontal.

Shoot Better. Survive Longer. Still Probably Die.

Loot your way to greatness—or at least to slightly less terrible. Find weapons, slap on cool attachments, throw on armor that hopefully still works, and equip skill patches that somehow make you better at violence. Every upgrade helps. Kind of.

Make Noise, Meet Friends (They’re Hungry)

In Die Trying, noise isn’t just annoying—it’s a death sentence. Every footstep, door creak, bullet casing you drop, or sneeze adds to a live heatmap called the Echo Trace System. Sound travels—and so do the things that want to eat you. So go ahead, slam that door. Fire that shotgun. The crowd’s already dying to meet you.

They’ve Got Problems. You’ve Got Guns.

The folks back at base have a lot of issues—and somehow you and your friends are the solution. Complete their tasks and head out into the chaos together. Every job pushes you deeper into the infected world, unlocking new zones, bigger risks, and eventually… the kind of places you really shouldn’t go alone.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Die Trying contains cartoon depictions of whacky limb dismemberment of zombies and silly over the top blood effects.
