Expect especially new visuals, and new types of visuals to be mostly released as paid DLC. All the basic features that make a great VJ application are, and will remain free”

“The aim is to become the VJ app that does what most DJs with a projector actually need, with 80% of the features of market leaders, all in a user-friendly package with sensible defaults, that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars / euros (a year) to own. When we get there, we'll call it the full version: 1.0

Concrete planned updates
– Support for multiple decks to easily hold more visuals
– Support for multiple layers (overlaying videos, back-end work done)
– Support for shader effects overlaid on videos & ability to import them

– Real-time generated AI visuals based on the music when better hardware is around (DLC)
– Much more content and creative visuals (free samples + DLC)
– Steam workshop / store for user made content

“I’ve found AI VJ to be stable enough for my own DJ shows. Syncing through Ableton Link and BPM estimation through live music all work for hours on end. And it does videos, photos, and a built-in fractal shader. While with ongoing updates we can’t yet fully guarantee long stable sets, on the plus side, there is much to come

But some non-core elements are, and will be, DLCs, such as the Customize Your DJ Logo DLC. Apart from free samples, new visuals (& types of visuals) will be released as DLC”
