Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be Early Access for 2-3 months post-launch with regular patches, bug fixes, and exciting content updates!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release of the game, we plan to populate the islands with more of everything; more quests, more activities, more sights, more achievements, more polish, more ways to enjoy your stay on the island!

Beyond addressing routine bugs and issues, we also intend to breathe new life into the game by regularly adding new content to make it the best summer game possible.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In this version of the game, you can explore the first contained open-world slice of the game's island environments, with early access to some later game mechanics.

The plan is then to open up access to the main island and offer a start-to-end experience, while regularly dropping new content to give you more reasons to explore every nook and cranny of the islands!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We’re offering Early Access at a reduced price than what we plan for the full game release. It's super important to us that anyone who's supported us during Early Access and helped shape the game feels that it has been worth their time!

If you're excited to play An Island Away in Early Access, we hope it's understood that it's still under development and an evolving experience. This is part of the fun! And if you'd rather wait for the more polished full release, we completely understand, and will be just as happy to see you then!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“There are lots of ways you can get involved! We're super eager for you to share your experiences on the islands and there are many ways to do so!
