What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Why Early Access on Steam?
Launching in Early Access gives us the ability to bring you into the heart of development from day one. Rather than working in silence until release, we want to build this game with you — gathering feedback, testing features, and evolving the world together.

1. Community-Driven Development
We believe the best games are made with their players, not just for them. Early Access allows us to:

Gather real-time feedback on gameplay balance, mechanics, and performance.

See how you play and adapt the game to fit both new and experienced players.

Quickly respond to suggestions, bug reports, and feature requests.

2. Iteration in the Wild
No amount of internal testing can match the creativity (and unpredictability) of a real player base. Early Access helps us:

Identify edge cases and rare bugs that wouldn’t appear in controlled environments.

Fine-tune systems like AI behavior, economy balance, and progression pacing.

Stress-test multiplayer, networking, and server stability at scale.

3. Content Growth Over Time
Our vision includes expanding content during Early Access, such as:

New maps, missions, and story chapters.

Additional weapons, abilities, and customization options.

Quality-of-life features inspired by community input.

4. Transparency & Trust
Early Access is a public promise:

You’ll see development in motion — from rough prototypes to polished features.

We’ll post regular updates, patch notes, and dev blogs so you know exactly what’s changing.

You can follow the roadmap, vote on priorities, and shape the final product.

5. A Better Final Release
By launching in Early Access, we aim to:

Deliver a stable, well-balanced, and fully-featured game on 1.0 release.

Avoid the “day one chaos” that comes from rushing a launch.

Ensure the game works on a wide range of systems before its full debut.

In short: Early Access isn’t a shortcut — it’s an open workshop. Your feedback, playstyle, and ideas will help forge the best version of the game possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for about 12–18 months.
This window gives us enough time to:

Expand core features and content.

Gather and integrate community feedback.

Thoroughly test performance, stability, and balance before 1.0.

That said, quality comes before deadlines — if we feel more time is needed to ensure a polished final release, we’ll extend Early Access rather than rush the game.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“1. Expanded Content
More maps, missions, and story chapters to deepen replayability and narrative.

Additional weapons, abilities, and customization options to diversify playstyles.

New enemy types, bosses, and environmental hazards for greater challenge.

2. Fully Refined Systems
Balanced progression curves, loot tables, and in-game economies.

Polished AI behavior for enemies, allies, and NPCs.

Enhanced crafting, skill trees, and upgrade systems.

3. Technical & Performance Improvements
Optimized performance across a wider range of hardware.

Reduced loading times and smoother framerates.

More stable multiplayer servers with improved matchmaking.

4. Quality-of-Life Enhancements
Expanded accessibility settings.

Improved UI/UX for menus, inventories, and HUD elements.

Controller and keybinding customization.

5. Complete Story & Final Polish
Full main storyline with complete voice acting and cinematic sequences.

Final pass on visuals, sound design, and animations.

Bug fixes, stability improvements, and fine-tuned gameplay feel.

In short: Early Access is our testing ground. The full version will be the finished game — built on your feedback, packed with more content, and fine-tuned for long-term play.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“What is the current state of the Early Access version?
The Early Access version is a fully playable foundation of the game, with the core mechanics, systems, and gameplay loop in place. While it doesn’t yet have all the planned content, it’s already designed to provide hours of engaging play.

Included in the Current Build
Core gameplay systems: Combat, progression, and key player abilities are functional and balanced for initial play.

Playable content: A selection of maps, missions, and story segments that showcase the game’s direction.

Multiplayer support (if applicable): Functional servers with matchmaking and basic stability testing.

Core customization: Basic character or loadout customization to personalize your experience.

Saving & persistence: Progress can be saved between sessions.

Work-in-Progress Elements
Limited number of maps, enemies, and equipment compared to the planned full release.

Early versions of certain features, which may have placeholder art, sound, or animations.

Balancing and difficulty tuning still ongoing based on player feedback.

Occasional bugs and performance hiccups, as expected in an in-development build.

Bottom line: The game is stable enough to enjoy right now, but we’re actively updating and expanding it. Each update will bring new features, polish, and content on the road to 1.0.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes — the price will increase after Early Access.

During Early Access, the game will be offered at a lower price as a way to thank early supporters who help shape its development. We expect the final version — with all planned content, features, and polish — to be priced higher to reflect its full value.

Our goal is to reward the first wave of players who join us early, so picking it up now ensures you’ll get all future updates, expansions, and the full release without paying more later.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“1. Feedback Loops
In-Game Feedback Tools – Quick forms and bug reports directly from the game client.

Steam Forums & Discord – Dedicated channels for suggestions, balance discussions, and Q&A with the dev team.

Public Roadmap – A live Trello/Notion board showing what’s being worked on and what’s next.

2. Iterative Updates
Each Early Access update will focus on a specific development goal — e.g., “Improve combat feel,” “Expand map variety,” or “Enhance AI behavior.”

After release of each update, we’ll collect community feedback, measure player response, and adjust the next goal accordingly.

3. Playtesting & Experiments
Closed Test Branches – Players can opt in to experimental builds before features hit the main game.

Surveys & Polls – Help prioritize new weapons, missions, or features.

Community Challenges – In-game events to stress-test systems and measure balance.

4. Recognition & Transparency
Patch notes that credit community members for ideas and bug reports.

Regular dev blogs, livestreams, and behind-the-scenes breakdowns.

Honest communication about what’s working, what’s changing, and why.

In short: Our community isn’t just here to watch development — you’re here to guide it. Every piece of feedback helps us hit our development goals faster and better, leading to a final game that feels like it was built by all of us.”
