About This Game

Get penguins home safely in Gentoo Rescue. Penguins can only move by sliding, so they'll need coordination. Change the rules with item pickups, which unlock new powers bringing unique side effects. There are many edge-cases and synergies between items and other elements. A hammer will push and a magnet will pull, but what if there isn't enough room? What happens when they interact? What if a penguin gets stuck in an infinite loop? The answers are intuitive, yet surprising.

Accessibility

No time-sensitive inputs are required, and you can slow down time to analyze the interactions. Puzzle skipping and warping are supported, and secrets can be revealed. Penguin and walrus colors are customizable. Controller, keyboard, and mouse are all supported with custom hotkeys. (Exception: The puzzle editor requires a mouse.)
