“BETRAYED is a chaotic social-deduction shooter that depends heavily on how real players interact with each other. Early Access allows us to shape the game together with the community: new roles, new items, new maps, new traps, new traitor mechanics, better balancing, and improved quality of life all benefit massively from player feedback.
We want BETRAYED to grow organically through real chaos, real matches, and real ideas from the players.”

“We currently plan 6–12 months, depending on the scale of the features the community requests.
If we see strong demand for larger systems (new roles, bigger maps, additional modes etc.), the Early Access period may be extended to deliver them properly.”

“The full version is intended to offer significantly more content and variety, including:
- additional maps
- new roles and expanded role abilities
- more items, guns, traps, gadgets, and traitor tools

“The Early Access version of BETRAYED is already fully playable and includes:
- 3 complete roles: Traitor, Innocent, Inspector
- multiple maps with different layouts
- a wide set of guns, items, traitor abilities, and gadgets
- tasks for Innocents and Traitors
- dynamic map events
- voice chat (proximity + dedicated dead-only channel)
- full kill, ragdoll, investigation & evidence systems
- functional UI, sound, effects, animations
- stable multiplayer with dedicated server logic

The game already provides complete matches and solid gameplay, but it still needs content expansion, polish, and community-driven balancing.”

Who is behind BETRAYED?

We are 2 developers with a passion for game development in Unreal Engine. We have worked on 15+ small ideas and projects in the past and with BETRAYED we have finally created a game that fulfills our expectations for quality and reliability. For this reason, we have officially founded our studio "Almost Good Games" and decided to release Betrayed on Steam with the hope of offering entertainment and fun for fellow gamers while also collecting feedback on how to improve the game further.

We try to be as transparent and open as possible and would love to get your feedback on our work. We have created social media accounts on all major platforms as well as an official Discord you can join. We are active on all those platforms by ourselves. In our opinion staying in close communication with the gaming community is what makes or breaks a game and we want BETRAYED to make it.

Isn't this just TTT or AmongUs with extra steps?

Nope. We love TTT but it's lacking so many modern features and a simple way to get started. BETRAYED is your one-stop shop to get your social deduction game going while enabling you to customize as much or little as you want.

From integrated voice chat to new and exciting weapons. Read more to learn why BETRAYED is for you!

Global and proximity-based voice chat makes your rounds more immersive and easy to manage. And thanks to the seperate death VC you can keep talking to your friends even after you died!

Sure we have assault rifles, shotguns, and snipers. But where is the fun in that?

What other game brings portable cannons, rocket-powered baseball bats, lightning strikes, invisibility, Airstrikes, Landmines, Teleporter, and oh yeah... car-shooting shotguns?

And more importantly: Why wouldn't you wanna play that?

Diverse locations to keep things interesting! From the dry desert of High Noon to the freezing winds on Arctic. We want to keep gameplay interesting. But be careful not to lose control in the low gravity environment of Moon Crate or the steep cliffs on Spanish Fortress. Maybe open spaces are not your thing? Check out The Office or our Movie Nights map. And if everything fails we can recommend some vacation on Pirate Bay. Surely nothing bad could happen, right?

But we are not done by a long shot. More locations are in development and will be added before release.

You Like customization? How about 91,069,440 unique combinations for your character?

Counting up with every update! We continue to add hats, masks, and others so your character can be as silly, funny, accurate, unique, and special as you!

Endless laughter with rag-doll physics that is never not funny.

Watch your friends fly through the air like a wet napkin, thrown around by explosions, mines, cannonballs, baseball bats, and much more!

How much trust do you have in your friends?

Enough to be alone with them, without being scared of them pulling out a rocket launcher?

Find out how well you know your friends in this Traitor vs. Innocent social deduction game that has CHAOS written in caps.

Betray your friends and kill every last Innocent to win. Use your earned Blood Credits [BC] to buy anything from straightforward land mines to invisibility, teleporter, and silenced snipers to get an advantage. Make use of the Traitor's safe space to hatch out a plan or go full tilt and shoot at everything that moves.

Or be Innocent, fearful, and unknowing of who to trust. Finish tasks to reduce the game timer and escape earlier. But don't forget to watch your back at all times. Wager your hard-earned BC against other players in a game of gun gamble to win or lose it all, group together, or hide alone. Play however you like!

Need more variety? Switch it up with more Traitors and additional roles like the VIPs and Joker!
