Who is behind BETRAYED?

We are 2 developers with a passion for game development in Unreal Engine. We have worked on 15+ small ideas and projects in the past and with BETRAYED we have finally created a game that fulfills our expectations for quality and reliability. For this reason, we have officially founded our studio "Almost Good Games" and decided to release Betrayed on Steam with the hope of offering entertainment and fun for fellow gamers while also collecting feedback on how to improve the game further.

We try to be as transparent and open as possible and would love to get your feedback on our work. We have created social media accounts on all major platforms as well as an official Discord you can join. We are active on all those platforms by ourselves. In our opinion staying in close communication with the gaming community is what makes or breaks a game and we want BETRAYED to make it.

Global and proximity-based voice chat makes your rounds more immersive and easy to manage. And thanks to the seperate death VC you can keep talking to your friends even after you died!

Check out The Office or our Movie Nights map. And if everything fails we can recommend some vacation on Pirate Bay. Surely nothing bad could happen, right?

But we are not done by a long shot. More locations are in development and will be added before release.

Betray your friends and kill every last Innocent to win. Use your earned Blood Credits [BC] to buy anything from straightforward land mines to invisibility, teleporter, and silenced snipers to get an advantage. Make use of the Traitor's safe space to hatch out a plan or go full tilt and shoot at everything that moves.

Or be Innocent, fearful, and unknowing of who to trust. Finish tasks to reduce the game timer and escape earlier. But don't forget to watch your back at all times. Wager your hard-earned BC against other players in a game of gun gamble to win or lose it all, group together, or hide alone. Play however you like!
