About This Game

Project Rebearth is a game set in a post-apocalyptic utopia. The world has faced a global collapse many generations ago and whoever survived could only do so by hiding underground. Centuries have passed and the surface appears to be habitable again. It is now up to you, and all other players to rebuild society. Play in a massive online multiplayer where everyone plays on the same exact replica of planet Earth. Grow your town, trade with other players for resources you cannot access yourself, face the challenges that come your way and discover the rich and sometimes dark history of the planet.

  • You start by choosing any spot on our planet Earth to start your settlement.
  • Build in a variety of Earth's biomes like woods, deserts, mountains and many more.
  • Gather resources and manage your inventory to make sure inhabitants are happy and your settlement can grow.
  • As a fishing village you will need to trade with the players a bit further in the mountains for stone or metals. Or your desert town rich in minerals will need to trade with a coastal town for food.
  • Study lost knowledge to advance your capabilities.
  • Make diplomatic, societal and technological decisions that have ripple effects throughout your entire town.
  • Launch expeditions to discover artifacts of a world that has been lost and uncover the true history of planet Earth.
  • Travel across the planet to see how other people are rebuilding society.

Project Rebearth plays out on an exact 1-to-1 replica of our beloved planet Earth.

You choose whether you start your settlement in the scorching deserts, arctic polar region or the more temperate forests. Each place on Earth has different fauna and flora, building materials that will reflect in the buildings you place, or resources and production chains to specialize in.

The world literally is your playground.

Feel free to roam around and explore the familiar, or less familiar corners of our globe. Get inspired by other players and see their wonderful creations. On top of that, every place can be exported as a high resolution map. This makes Project Rebearth highly suitable for map making, or to take your creation out of the game for offline (TTRPG) adventures.

The world never sleeps.

Project Rebearth is a casual game, not meant to be 'finished' in a weekend. Your farms will keep growing potatoes, your woodcutters will keep producing wood, even when you are offline. You can play at your pace and when it suits you.

Run expeditions to discover artifacts that hold secrets to the history of the planet.

How did the world became how it is, and can you, together with the other players, piece together the story of Project Rebearth?
