What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

Why Early Access?

It’s a way to supercharge development. Player feedback will fuel the game’s evolution, spark new ideas, and help build the kind of community I’ve always dreamed of — one that celebrates the good, the bad, and the “OH GOD WHY” moments together.

Early Access means I can start that beautiful feedback loop today:

You play.

You tell me what works and what sucks.

I improve it.

We all win.

So if you choose to support Mozentum now, know this: you’re helping a van-dwelling game dev live his highest dream — and in return, I’ll give you my all to make this the most fun, strange, and satisfying game it can be.

TL;DR: My goal = make art, build community, and bring Mozentum to life with you.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Q1 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I’m aiming for the full version of Mozentum to feel like a richer, more complete world to explore and play in. My current plans include expanding on:
[] Interactivity – more ways to engage with the environment and NPCs.[] Movement Customization – finer control over your movement style and abilities.[] Character Customization – more visual and functional ways to make your character your own.[] World Size – larger, more varied areas to explore.[] Moment-to-Moment Fluidity – smoother gameplay flow and more responsive controls.[] Worldbuilding – deeper lore, atmosphere, and hidden details.

I’d also like to explore adding brand new systems, such as:
[] Multiplayer – the option to explore and experiment with friends.[] Combat – new ways to interact with the world and its challenges.
  • Van-Life – customising your own mobile base and sharing it with others.

The goal is for Early Access updates to steadily grow the scope and depth of the game, bringing it closer to this vision — while also leaving room for community feedback to shape where it goes next.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the player can explore and experiment and with the movement and current implemented systems.

There will be secrets and a good chunk of the map to explore with more features and content on the way!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Mozentum's price will go up upon the full-version's release. Early Access benefits baby!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want your feedback EVERYWHERE you can give it, and I will always do my best to get back to you in some form or another through:
YouTube,
Discord,
Steam,
On the Street,
ANYWHERE.
The community will be an essential part of uncovering Mozentum's Secret mechanics and the depths of its delightful deliciousness.”

About This Game

Mozentum is a zen rage game with unique physics parkour.

you, the consciousness - must yeet yourself through a strange, aussie adventure.

DEEP MOVEMENT MECHANICS, MADE BY A ZEN PARKOUR TEACHER

  • Fang it: Swing, vault, climb, wall-run and more with a COMPLETELY UNIQUE, mouse-based movement system.

  • Climb everything: Choose your own path with dynamic edge detection and grab ANY LEDGE.

  • You're in control: Use the mouse or analogue to precisely control how much power you have when you jump or climb.

  • Don't forget to breathe: Your breathing effects your power and stamina, apply real life breath techniques to get in-game (and real life) benefits.

A RAGE-GAME? OR A TOOL FOR YOUR AWARENESS?

  • Don't stack it: You slip up, you fall to the bottom and only YOU can climb your way back up

  • Practice zen: The more relaxed and focused your body is, the more the game bends to your will.

  • Designed to pull you into the flow-state: Precarious level design and unique controls require your full presence. MOZENTUM is a test for your self-mastery, and only those worthy shall see what lies beyond the final chakra...

HELP STRANGERS, GET HIGHER. (sometimes, REALLY high)

  • A Trippy world: Meet 7 characters, unlock 7 abilities, sort out your 7 chakras and get life advice from a gold top mushy smokin' a doobskin.

  • Pick sh*t up: Carry it, yeet it or use it. MOZENTUM has a unique interaction system that allows you to do stupid sh*t w/ lots of different sh*t.

  • Find deep secrets: Plenty of easter eggs, personal secrets and collectables for you to make up a story for.

    ONE BLOKE, ONE DREAM

  • One bloke, one dream: Made by one bloke in a van on a cheap laptop.

  • Made to raise awareness: Not for a particular cause, but for yourself.

Become present, center yourself, and take a breath - you're about to break through.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Game's pretty chill. The worst that'll happen is you'll fight baddies and they'll eventually die, or maybe you'll hear me talk about the subject of sex as a conversational topic.
