«Haymaker VR is built around physical combat, timing, and player feel and that’s something you can’t fully tune in isolation. Early Access lets us put the game into real players’ hands while we actively refine mechanics, balance systems, and expand content based on how people actually play, move, and fight.

Early Access also gives us room to iterate fast. We want to test new fighting mechanics, modes, progression systems, and comfort improvements in the open getting feedback early rather than locking decisions behind closed doors.

We’re committed to continuing development through Early Access and seeing Haymaker VR through to a full release. Player feedback isn’t just welcome but rather it’s part of the development process and will allow us to properly fine tune the game for full release.»

«We expect Haymaker VR to remain in Early Access for roughly 9–12 months.

This timeline gives us the flexibility to refine core combat, expand content, and ensure performance and comfort meet the standards expected of a full VR release. As development progresses, we’ll keep the community updated if that timeline shifts.»

«We plan to feature a more polished and refined experience across the board- improved visuals, animations, audio, and overall presentation, as well as finalized game modes with clearly defined rules and progression.

Content-wise, we plan to expand significantly beyond Early Access, with a more complete lineup of maps, enemy types, and weapons designed to offer more variety, replayability, and long-term challenge. »

«The Early Access version of Haymaker VR is fully playable and focused on delivering the core experience: intense, physical VR street fighting.

Currently implemented features include:

Enemy AI with varied behaviors

VR comfort and accessibility options
Ongoing performance optimization

While the foundation is solid, this version does not yet represent the final scope of the game. Additional modes, enemies, environments, progression depth, polish, and quality-of-life features are planned throughout Early Access.»
