Why Early Access?

“We believe that the best possible experience can only be created by listening to you.
Seal the Rift currently has a good deal of content and polish.
Early Access will be used to build upon this and incorporate your feedback.

We plan to provide you with an update on Steam every two weeks.
The updates will focus on new content, quality of life changes and further polishing the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“5-9 months.

Our philosophy is that a game should not be in Early Access for longer than 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We expect the full version of Seal the Rift to include at least a 3rd playable adventurer, a secret final boss and of course additional content and polish.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and has all the content and features described on the store page. We've dedicated extensive efforts to testing and balancing the game. You can expect clear descriptions, everything working as intended and the balance of the game being in a good place.

Some aspects of the presentation are still temporary or work-in-progress.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not increase during Early Access to welcome and thank you for your support.

There is a good chance the price will change after leaving Early Access.
Reflecting the amount of content, polish and development time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“By actively engaging with the community and monitoring feedback on Steam, Reddit, Twitch and wherever else we can find public discussion about the game.

We plan to provide you with an update on Steam every two weeks.
Allowing you to see and react to the game's progress every step of the way.”
