What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to refine Ava Hunt and Thieves of the Lost with direct player feedback while the core experience is already in place. It helps us polish combat, balance progression, and expand systems to deliver the best possible final release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Ava Hunt and Thieves of the Lost to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months, depending on player feedback and the scope of final content additions.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand on Early Access with additional story chapters, new locations, more enemies and relics, refined combat systems, and overall polish in visuals, audio, and performance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version features a playable vertical slice with core gameplay systems in place, including exploration, combat, enemies, and narrative foundations, with ongoing polish and content expansion planned.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The Early Access version will be offered at a lower price, with the price increasing as new content and features are added toward the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community through player feedback, bug reports, and discussions on Steam and social channels, using that input to guide balancing, feature improvements, and content priorities throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

Ava Hunt and Thieves of the Lost is a third-person action-adventure where exploration, combat, and discovery are tightly connected.
Every relic you uncover strengthens Ava — and pushes the world to respond.

Explore hostile ruins, survive escalating enemy pressure, solve traversal and environmental mysteries, and uncover fragments of a forgotten civilization — while rival factions and something far darker close in.

Core Gameplay Loop

Explore hostile ruins → secure relics and clues → survive enemy encounters → unlock memories and abilities → push deeper as the Signal grows stronger.

Each step forward reshapes the danger around you.

Key Features:

Explore Ancient Jungles & Ruins

Forgotten sanctuaries, collapsed chambers, hidden passages, and environments shaped by an unknown civilization buried beneath the modern world.

Resonant Relics System

Relics are more than collectibles. Each discovery unlocks memories, abilities, and fragments of history — while drawing something darker closer.

Tactical Enemy Encounters

Enemies react to movement, sound, and proximity. Positioning matters, stealth is rewarded, and encounters escalate quickly when detected.

Traversal & Environmental Challenges

Climbing, platforming, and navigating unstable terrain through crumbling ruins, ancient mechanisms, and vertical spaces.

Atmospheric Guidance

A mysterious voice guides Ava as the Signal intensifies and the ruins begin to respond to her presence.

The Forces Closing In

For millennia, a hidden order known as the Thieves of the Lost has operated from the shadows.
As Ava draws closer to forbidden truths, they deploy their private military arm — Enigma Incorporated — to seize relics and eliminate interference.

But Enigma isn’t the only threat.

As Relic resonance grows stronger, the Gloom awakens — twisted remnants of a failed creation.
They are not mindless. They sense energy, movement, and presence, reacting dynamically to Ava’s actions… and to Enigma’s.

Every faction seeks the same truth: The Relics. The Ethernal Flame.

Resonance Mastery & Abilities

Ava develops Resonance Mastery — a deep ability system fueled by Relic resonance.
Shape your playstyle through new powers, upgrades, and passive effects as the world reacts to how deeply you resonate with ancient forces.

Early Release introduces the foundation: relic awakening, resonance buildup, and escalating world reactions as Ava pushes deeper into forbidden ruins.

The Codex of Constellations — Relics System

Relics in Ava Hunt form a living constellation web inside the Codex of Constellations.
Each Relic unlocks lore fragments, Resonance effects, and new progression routes — revealing a larger pattern tied to the Ethernal Flame.

Relics follow distinct paths, allowing non-linear progression and meaningful choice as Ava evolves.
The deeper you resonate, the more secrets emerge — and the more dangerous the hunt becomes.

Factions & Threats

The hunt is crowded — with allies, rivals, and predators who follow different rules.

From shadow brokers and opportunists to Enigma Inc. strike teams led by Victoria “Vicky” Stone, the ruins are contested ground.
Behind it all stands Mr. Johanson, “The Architect”, shaping events from behind locked doors.

And when the Signal peaks, the Gloom Commandants stir — whispered like warnings:
Lord Obsidian. Zarek. Nyx.

Not monsters.
Awakened predators.
