✨ Nekokami is a meditative, calming tile building game where you play as a time-traveler to a far future Milky Way managed by... benevolent Future Cats with super advanced technologies. Why it has to be the Cats? And where are the Humans?    

In Nekokami, you will:

• 🌏 Create beautiful worlds of natural habitats and human settlements with strategic, or spontaneous, placement of tiles in a unique hand-drawn-like art style.

• 🌌 Follow an epic, whimsical yet heartwarming story of Human-Cat friendship, set millennia in the future.

• 💼 Earn your place in Nekokami Co., your employer, by creating worlds that beat expectations. Or just relax. Your bosses are Cats after all.

• 🔮 Befriend a selection of over 40 Kami, spirits of the nature and the universe, and see them bring miracles (or totally innocent CAT'astrophes) to your work.

We repeat again: the Universe of Nekokami is thoroughly, totally inhibited by Cats. Your colleagues are Cats. You seem to be a Cat. Even the gods and spirits (the Kami*) roaming among the stars are Cats!

• 🌟 Your Cat colleagues can be found working on all sorts of environments and biomes over the Milky Way. Every one of the 30+ Star Systems is a world of its own! Don't worry, your Cat colleagues probably don't completely get what they are doing as well. You can always experiment at your own pace.

• 🐈 Oh yes, the Kami. Technically the spirits are the real fellows creating the worlds. As a Planetary Architect, you are basically borrowing their Creative Energy. You will need to seek their acceptance and approval. Through their friendship, you will potentially learn the secrets of nature and the arcane laws of universe. Maybe someday you will be able to wield godly powers?

*Kami: A Japanese word that would roughly, but not completely, translates to "spirits and gods" in English.
