Plot Synopsis:

You are a "Lost Soul", a person trapped between the different stages of the afterlife.

The connection between your mind and soul has been severed, leaving you unable to recall any information about your mortal life. The only thing keeping your soul from completely dissipating is a unbreakable bond between you and your art. This bond manifests as a powerful magic allowing you to conjure ethereal brush strokes.



Wielding this magic, you must traverse through the afterlife fighting monsters and collecting your lost memories.

Gameplay:

Nightmare Arts is a fast paced arcade inspired roguelike built around a unique drawing based combat system. Draw, paint, and slash, your way through hoards monsters as you advance through a randomly generated and ever shifting world.

During your adventure you will find unique upgrades. These upgrades enhance, and empower your character, drastically altering the way you approach the game.



This world is one that calls for rapid adaptation, be ready to change your strategy and play style on the fly as you collect new upgrades and reveal powerful synergies between them.
