About This Game

Deathless Death" blends the mechanics of point-and-click puzzles with the storytelling of visual novels.

You play as a priest, stepping into a world filled with thoughts and visions, facing the confessions and secrets of four individuals linked by their actions towards a woman.

As the priest, you delve into their memories to see their lives and understand their thoughts.

Use the arrow keys to navigate puzzles and click to interact, uncovering secrets and seeking truth.

As the hour strikes, the priest lights candles upon the altar, each flame a silent witness to contemplation and prayer.
Upon lighting the fifth, wax tears fall upon the spine of his ancient Bible, marking a moment of solemn reflection.
Clothed in rarely seen vestments, he returns to the confessional, its air tinged with the scent of mild decay, the pure white church welcoming all at its open doors.

"Two paths converge here: one seeks the Holy Spirit's blessing, the other, the absolution of sin."

In the moment of judgment, within the fleeting time before the candle's light fades, you are called to deliver your verdict on the penitent: execution or redemption. To extinguish their candle is to erase their existence, to deny their soul; to snuff out the flame is to sever their desires, offering a path to salvation.

About the Developers

Hi there! This is Dream Delivery Centre, the development team. “Deathless Death" is our first collaboration and our first game. The game's demo was born out of the "BOOOMJAM Game Creation Challenge" organized by GCORES. Our journey was inspired by the theme "Take me somewhere nice," which to us meant entrusting one's soul to another for salvation.

The game has a playtime of about 45~70 minutes. Due to its text-heavy nature, we hope players approach it with a calm and enjoyable mindset to understand a peculiar story. We also thank you for reading this far.
