Varför Early Access?

“While the core of the game is complete, there are certain ideas that I would like to expand upon. Although these additions won't fundamentally change the game, I aim to make the experience as enjoyable and long-lasting as possible for players.”

“The game will remain in Early Access for six to twelve months after release. I want to implement more of the players' suggestions, which will provide the game with a solid foundation after Early Access.”

“The full version will allow you to fully express anything you want in your levels. I will be making additions that expand what is possible inside of Downpour Dash. I also want to offer a more rounded experience with the official content in the game, providing a better experience for those who just want to play the game as it is, without worrying about user-generated levels or the level editor.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version includes three major features: "Main levels," "Community levels," and a "Level editor." Upon entering the game, you are introduced to the variety of levels I have created. Once you complete all the main levels, you are free to explore the abundant content made by the community. You can create, play, and share levels at the click of a button. You can rate, comment, and browse through a variety of different levels. From these activities, you earn rewards that you can use on your virtual character to show off on your profile. For competitive players, there will also be leaderboards and statistics for level completions.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“I do not plan on altering the price of Downpour Dash.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“There will be many methods for the community to get involved directly with me and other players, fostering an open-ended discussion about everything related to Downpour Dash. Mainly through Discord, there will be dedicated sections for bug reporting, improvement suggestions, general discussion, and more. I look forward to discussing future additions to Downpour Dash with you!”
