About This Game

It’s late in the night when the office phone rings.

You pick up the phone, and greats the other side:

“Hello... You’re Adam, the paranormal investigator, right? I saw your post. Listen, we need help. I'm new in the neighborhood, and there’s something really wrong. Every night, music comes from that cursed, abandoned Hotel Aurora. I called the police, but when they got close, it just stopped. They’ve told us to stop calling, and said it’s nothing. But I know they’re scared. Everyone is. We’ve heard all the stories about that place. Shadows. Screams. Things that shouldn’t be there. And then there is music, all night. My kids can’t sleep. None of us can. Please, can you help us?”

The desperation in their voice is palpable.

“Don’t worry my good sir. I’ll take care of it.”

A few days later, by 11:00 PM, you find yourself standing before the looming silhouette of the old Hotel Aurora. Bathed in the weak glow of a flickering streetlight, its once-majestic facade has crumbled into a dismal husk, a haunting monument to its forgotten past.

The stories you’ve heard from the locals echo in your mind—shadowy figures watching from the windows, music, and laughter drifting through the night with no one laughing or a source for the music, a sense of dread and danger from even looking to the building.

As you step through the warped front doors, the air shifts—thick, oppressive, alive. It feels as if something is watching, waiting.

In No Dead Ends, players step into the shoes of Adam, a paranormal investigator tasked with uncovering the chilling mysteries behind the disappearances at the Aurora Hotel—a once-thriving establishment abandoned in the 1970s after outbreaks, unexplained vanishings, and eerie reports from its guests.

Left untouched for decades, Adam ventures into the decaying site in search of the truth.

The core objective of No Dead Ends is to unravel the identity of the entity haunting the hotel, uncover the curse binding it, and piece together the tragic events that transpired within its walls. To achieve this, Adam must scour the hotel for clues—scraps of the past, records of its history, and any evidence that sheds light on the source of the hauntings. Armed with an Investigation Board, Adam can catalog his findings, connect the dots, and track his progress as he inches closer to solving the enigma.

However, Adam must tread carefully, as the restless spirits roaming the hotel will not welcome his intrusion. Using strategically placed surveillance cameras, equipped with paranormal lenses, Adam can monitor the movements of these entities, avoiding direct encounters while also observing their behavior to glean valuable insights. These spirits act independently, moving and interacting with the environment even in Adam’s absence—an opportunity to study their patterns and uncover hidden truths.

To subdue these malevolent presences, Adam will rely on spiritual projections represented as retro-style mini-games. These games serve as metaphors for the exorcism process and the mental battle of asserting control over the spirits. Each encounter becomes a symbolic struggle, where Adam's determination and skill are the keys to breaking the curse and bringing peace to the haunted hotel.
