KILLBEAT is a rhythm shooter roguelike focusing on fast and brutal gameplay with a wide build variety.



Descend into the depths of Cadence Drop, a mysterious sinkhole devouring an entire city. Fight your way through monsters and bosses, and engage with branching story encounters as you venture deeper, driven by the rhythm towards the source of the beat.

GAMEPLAY

Explore procedurally generated levels with rhythm driven, skill-based gameplay. Shoot, Dash, Reload, Repeat, and Finish off your enemies on beat. Create varied builds with synergies for each run - Offence is your best defense.

STORY

Uncover the source of the beat echoing from the depths of Cadence Drop, while stocking up on unlockable items and weapons at the derelict theme park hub hanging by the side of the sinkhole. KILLBEAT's gameplay offers branching encounters designed to be strategic from a gameplay perspective, with narrative decisions and the consequences you face in the lower depths.

MUSIC

Inspired by EDM and metal, the soundtrack of KILLBEAT adds it's unique spin with catchy vocal chop melodies. Dive into the "flow sate" and keep your combo going to add additional musical instruments to the tracks and get rewarded with gameplay bonuses! There's always the option to kill to your own beat with the custom music feature.
