Proč předběžný přístup?

„In order to create the best game possible, involving the Players in the decision-making process is vital. Caldera is not Early Access because there are numerous bugs, Caldera is early access so that the final product is a tailored experience that the Steam community can be proud of.“

„Caldera is planned to be in Steam's Early Access program for at least one year.“

„The Full Version of Caldera is planned to include the following additional features based on the existing 2024 Roadmap:

Early Access Roadmap:
Q1 2024: Carpentry & Chemistry Update.
Q2 2024: Online Multiplayer Update & PVP Update.
Q3 2024: Advanced Base Building Update.
Q4 2024: New Maps.
Q1 2025: Leaving Early Access.

Although Q1 2025 is the planned end of Early Access for Caldera, there are existing post-production plans for long-term development inspired by internal roadmaps. In the end, the valuable insight and suggestions of the Steam community will heavily influence the direction of Caldera throughout the development process. Both before and after Early Access, the goal is to create a genuine, one-stop-shop for all Gold enthusiasts to enjoy, as well as the intention to expand upon the versatility of Online and Co-op scenarios for players of all ages. The Full Version of Caldera needs to be as educational as it is entertaining, if not outright motivating and inspiring.“

„Caldera 1.0 is Stable with many gameplay opportunities to enjoy, from Gold Panning to advanced prospecting. As of Q1 2024, Prospecting includes but is not limited to; Gold Panning, Digging Paydirt, Extracting Minerals from Paydirt, investigating 10+ real-world themed Mineral Depositions, and more. Survival functionality in Caldera is unforgiving, however the emphasis here is on Gemstones and Minerals, not combat; at least for now. The early America's were built on Cooperation and Knowledge, a concept which is by no means easy to convey.“

From Gold Panning to Alluvial, Eluvial, and Placer Prospecting, this 1849 adventure will lead you down a path towards Gold Fever. Learn about the Mineralization in Geology responsible for Gold Bearing Ore, and other Precious Gemstones and Minerals through the differentiation between Mafic, Felsic, and Intermediate deposits. Using an intuitive system for Mineral Memorization, you will learn valuable information with Visual References to help you find Gold in the real; or at a minimum, a neat party trick with your newfound vast knowledge of Gemstones and Mineral Depositions.
