You are Squishy, a shape-shifting operative of Rangus Corp. Adapt to your enemies and outmaneuver them by stealing heads, torsos, and legs – each equipped with a unique power-- creating thousands of possible strategic combos. This unique mechanic makes you harder to kill and your gameplay more strategic, no matter what enemy you encounter.

1 - 4 Player Co-op

Survive your runs alone or recruit up to three friends to destroy aliens and swap their meat alongside you. With dynamically scaling difficulty, the game gets harder when players join and easier when they leave.

Swap on the Fly

If you’ve ever threatened to break someone’s arm and beat them with it, well, this is that mechanic in action, and the game for you. Every limb and extremity you equip changes your strategy instantly. Rapid adaptation is your key to success. For example, equip Squat Daddy legs to jump and butt-slam enemies, or an Octo Swirl head that shoots in all directions! This upgrade path is unique to SWAPMEAT: evolving strategically mid-combat, stealing abilities and turning them against your enemies. Muahahaha.

Fast, Relentless Combat

SWAPMEAT forces improvisation in a fresh new way: you work with what drops and learn to thrive in unpredictability, while under constant siege by alien weirdos.

Waves of screwball enemies threaten to overwhelm you, but every weapon can be stolen for yourself. Dodge, shoot, and swap your way through escalating chaos while racing against time to complete objectives. 

Risk of Rain 2 and co-op shooters like Helldivers 2 inspired our developers, but the speed of core combat harks back to some of our favorite games, such as Quake 3, Serious Sam, and Overwatch. Hark!

Roguelite Replayability

Each mission throws new enemies, random events, and unexpected part combinations at you. No two runs are ever the same. Every death teaches you something new.

Permanent Upgrades Between Runs

Bring your research back to HQ and cash it in for weapon unlocks, new perks, and company-approved improvements. Over time, you get more powerful between runs.

Hostile Alien Worlds

Drop into random and bizarre planets, from an urban speedway thick with hungry mutant speedsters to a planetary cookout overrun by hostile aliens. Battle across wackadoodle, vivid landscapes strewn with the ruins of galactic capitalism, ancient tech, and '90's references.
