Why Early Access?

“With the whole game being built around randomizing and replayability, and due to it being my first ever commercial game, I decided to put the game into early access to get lots of feedback as development progresses!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It depends on how much content will be added once the game is fully fleshed out and designed. With development and current planning in mind, it may take around a full year to exit Early Access and release v1.0. So, around Spring 2027. This may be updated later.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have lots more polish, easter eggs, lore, and content in general. The story has also been planned to be gradually introduced into the game and fully implemented in the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Since this is the first major release, this is version 0.1. It includes:
Endless Mode
~30 rooms, with more planned.
6 Challenges.
10 playable characters, each with their own unique special gimmicks.
5 randomized events.
A level editor.
Palette swapping, due to the game's 3-color style.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes! Once the game finishes, the price will increase. By how much? Depends on just how much content there is.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I love taking feedback from people, and especially for my first commercial game it would be great to take feedback and suggestions from anyone I can! I'm looking to improve in any aspect. If you have anything to tell me, please let me or any other developers know in the Steam discussions.”

Welcome, new user, to Man Game: Reflex Testing! You are an employee at █████, and you and everyone else at the company are ordered to use this reflex test!

Man Game is a 2D fast-paced roguelike platformer with a uniquely goofy 3-color artstyle where you must control a Man and escape his evil clones copying his every move.

In this reflex testing procedure executable licensed by VITRUMOLTECHNOLOGIES, you will experience the following things:

Tons of Replayability!

  • Every run has its own seed, which randomly selects rooms in a different way!

  • Play as 10 or more different playable characters to challenge yourself! Use their goofy gimmicks with strategy or haphazard chaos!

  • Every 25 rooms, experience a new random event! They won't be in your favor...

  • Challenges that give double the rewards!

  • A level editor for players to make their own level packs!

  • There's always a bigger high score you can get, user!

So, what are you waiting for? Go out there and run from those clones! They're already copying you... WAAGH!
