What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access helps small teams like us have some free space to experiment and think out of the box, as well as not getting locked in and can adjust and improve constantly as the project evolves.

We want to develop Adorimon: Arena of Ancients while keeping a strong connection to our playerbase and regularly checking on real-time feedback from the community. We are running other versions on different platforms, and have received a lot of valuable advises from our enthusiastic and loyal players. We hope to receive reviews and comments from Steam players so that the game can be shaped to a higher quality.

Early Access also allows us to test new contents and make modifications before the final release. This way, the game can be delivered to most of players in a completed state, with as less bugs as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Based on our schedule, Adorimon: Arena of Ancients would be ready for final release after about 3 months of Early Access, as we would complete all the main features at that time. After that, new updates still come regularly.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version sure will be much more complex than the EA version, as we plan to add a lot of things before releasing the game:
  • Gear system: include equipping, forging and enhancing a gear. This helps further power up your Adorimons and make more strategy viable.
  • Switch Adorimon in combat: you are no longer locked in 1v1 battle. When an opponent has advantage against your current Adorimon, you can switch to another one and retake the upper hand. This will push your tactical ability to the next level.
  • An interesting and fascinating storyline: This sure is a must. It helps players know more about the lore of the Adorimon world.
And we will not just stop there. As long as the game keeps going, there will be more creative features and adorable Adorimons waiting for you to discover.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“With the current EA version, you can experience a lot of things already:
  • Up to 150 species of Adorimons, all are original.
  • 30 stages of Story mode, each with 3 difficulties.
  • 30 floors of Challenge Tower.
  • PvP arena, where you will play against random players. You can also actively challenge an online player. There is a league each month, and you will receive a lot of prizes just for competing in the Arena.
  • Hunt for relics and resurrect Ancient Adorimons. They are extremely powerful and quite worth the time and effort you spend to have them.
  • Teach your Adorimons new moves. This will unlock many interesting and unique strategies, as well as utilize the full potential of your Adorimons.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This game is a life-service, free-to-play and will always stay that way. Your game data will also be kept when the game is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome every player to try our game and give us some feedback. In fact, a lot of quality-of-life opinions have been implemented, and both players and we developers are happy about them. It does not need to be an innovative, excellent idea. It can simply be your review about the game, what features you expect to see, some character concept ideas you want us to make, or a new Adorimon representing your local cultures. We did, do and will always listen to all of the Community opinions.”

About This Game

In Adorimon - Arena of Ancients, you would be able to adopt and train powerful-but-adorable creatures called "Adorimon". Leveling, feeding, teaching, evolving, there are tons of activities you can do to unlock the full potential of your Adorimons. Prepare a decent team to explore the story, climb Challenge Tower, and duel with other players.
With 130+ species of Adorimons right now, and more will come in the future, guarantee you a pleasant experience of collecting and admiring their unique beauty.

All Adorimon designs are original and can be found nowhere else. They are based on the inspiration of animals and plants in nature, and mythical creatures from various cultures. Each Adorimon has a full 3-stage evolution line, some even have multiple evolution branches, so that you don't get in the situation when your favorite Adorimon cannot evolve like others. All characters are animated thoroughly, making every battle more lively.

Still the familiar turn-based combat mechanic where both sides make their decision, then the faster one goes first, but a lot of new vital things are added.
  • Element interaction: There are up to 15 element types, and each Adorimon can have 2 elements. Knowing the effectiveness of each element against others is the key to victory.
  • Status: effects that may turn the tide. There are a lot of statuses in "Adorimon: Arena of Ancients", from common statuses like Poisoned, Burned, Healing,... to stat changing statuses. They take an important role in the result of a battle, and you can build your strategy focusing on a specific status. There is no limit of how many statuses one can bear at the same time.
  • Moves: Currently there are 300+ moves in the game, and the number keeps rising. A fully-evolved Adorimon can prepare up to 6 moves to use in battle, along with 2 default actions "Normal Attack" and "Defense". This gives you a lot of options to choose from, as well as harder to predict your opponent's action. Each move has its own mana cost and cooldown, so that there is no limit how many times a move can be used in a combat, and some moves cannot be used continuously.
  • Special Abilities: Each Adorimon has a special ability. It can passively enhance a stat, or be triggered in a specific condition and make a surprise for your opponent.
And that's not all. As the game keeps expanding, more interesting mechanics would be added!

Beside the most common ways like leveling and evolving, there are many other activities you can do to make your Adorimons better: rarity enhancing, move tutoring, etc. You can even hunt for relics and resurrect almighty Ancient Adorimons, or breed two different Adorimons to get a completely new species.

Leveling up is the most basic way to power up an Adorimon. When an Adorimon reaches level 15 or 30, you can evolve it.

Once your Adorimon gets to the final evolution form, you can teach it various moves. This allows more strategies available.

If you try hard enough, you can even resurrect Ancient Adorimons from relics. They are very powerful and surely worth your effort.

This is not a pay-to-win game where there are limited contents blocked by purchase wall. In fact, a free player could obtain everything in the game. Gorgeous skins, extremely rare Ancient and Event Adorimons, ... all will be yours if you spend enough time and effort to get them. Doing daily quests regularly, joining in PvP Arena often, and you will have a top team in about 15 days. In PvP battles, it's experience and strategy brings you to victory.
